The morning air was crisp and
there was much to do.
The rising sun always brought the best energy of the day to him, and whether it was writing, gardening, or making music, he rarely missed the opportunity to tap into that creative light
that slowly engulfed his world, revealing the day's pleasures and tasks.
He grabbed the watering can from the back porch and pondered whether or not anything he ever did again would be a task. He hoped not.
With a cosmic chuckle that reverberated throughout the Universe, the Lord put His muck boots on and moseyed through the early light and into the Garden, and just like in the dreams of men, the grasses of the field bowed making a path for His feet, the trees vibrated while giving offerings of fruit and nuts, and the birds sang of His arrival at the Gate.
Did He notice the spectacular dance of life that swirled around His being?
Of course He did. He was the Light, and as all of creation called out for either His touch or His gaze He would release a Loving greeting and let His essence flow into the Garden while taking the exact amount back into Himself. Balance would be maintained even though His mind was on finding a flower to cut for the dinner table that evening.
As His mind turned easily toward His Visitor that would soon appear, the morning light became golden, the air stilled, and the animals quieted. Time itself was obedient as a warmth that pours only from the Heart of God fell on every creature large and small.
She was coming...and nothing else mattered except for the simple murmurs of wonder and encouragement that could be heard on the gathering winds of anticipation that were beginning to blow once again from Paradise, while the Son searched high and low for that perfect flower for His Mother.
